PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program aims to introduce to public practitioners who offer audit services an illustrative simplified audit methodology manual (the “audit methodology manual”), including an illustrative case study) for small and medium-sized audit clients to help them comply with the engagement level documentation requirements in preparation for the Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Program of the PRC-BOA QAR Office.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the 3-day workshop, the participants will be able to:<br/>1. Describe the different parts of the illustrative audit methodology manual;<br/>2. Illustrate the process of using the illustrative audit methodology manual in conducting audit of small and medium-sized audit clients;<br/>3. Apply the learnings in the illustrative case study;<br/>4. Evaluate the level of conformance with PSAs using the audit methodology manual; and, <br/>5. Determine the additional documentation required when using the illustrative audit methodology manual.
