PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The program will explore the new and dynamic changes incorporated in the MATATAG curriculum, the updated 2023 DepEd curriculum, with the goal of improving the quality and applicability of education at every level. Participants will acquire a comprehensive comprehension of the reasoning, principles, and essential aspects that form the foundation of the curriculum overhaul. Utilizing compelling presentations, participatory discussions, and hands-on exercises, educators will investigate the diverse elements of the revised curriculum and its impact on both teaching and learning.

OBJECTIVES

The following are the objectives of the conference:<br/><br/>1. To be able to give an Introduction to the 2023 Revised DepEd curriculum.<br/>2. To be able to give the key features and components of the revised curriculum.<br/>3. To be able to lay down the changes in the subject areas of Language, Science, Social Sciences, Arts, and Physical Education.<br/>4. To be able to discuss the integration of 21st century skills and digital literacy.<br/>5. To be able to discuss about values education in the context of the revised curriculum.<br/>6. To be able to discuss assessment and evaluation methods in the context of the revised curriculum.<br/>7. To be able to give pedagogical approaches for the revised curriculum.<br/>8. To be able to give the implications of the revised DepEd curriculum in classroom instructions and teacher training.<br/>
