PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The webinar aims to present different libraries that help communicate science, history and culture, and religion across generations. Additionally, the Association of Special Library of the Philippines opens the avenue and curiosities to practice librarianship not just the usual organizing and collecting library materials but also as a science librarian, historian, archivist, culture carrier, and others. Aside from emphasizing the said topics, our speakers will discuss the best practices in their respective libraries.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the program are 1. To discuss and establish the importance of libraries in communicating across generations; 2. To explore the development<br/>and contributions of libraries through history and culture, religion, and science. ; 3. To determine the challenges and issues faced by libraries throughout the years; 4. To serve as the avenue and curiosities to practice librarianship not just the usual organizing and collecting library materials but also as a science librarian, historian, archivist, culture carrier, and others; 5. To discuss how the libraries address these challenges; 6. To determine the solution and best practices of libraries throughout the years
