PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Course Description: To explore a profound synergy that lies at the heart of modern healthcare and safety. We delve into the convergence of Nutrition/Dietetics, Occupational Safety and health and Radiology/Diagnostic Departments, where these fields seamlessly unite to enhance well-being, mitigate risks, and drive innovations. This convergence ensures that individuals are not only well-nourished but also work in environments that prioritize their well-being and have access to advanced diagnostic tools when needed. By embracing this synergy, we can look forward to a future where health and safety are not just a priority but an integrated way of life.

OBJECTIVES

Objectives: <br/><br/>1.Participants will demonstrate an improved understanding of the importance of nutrition and work-life balance in maintaining physical and mental well-being. <br/>2.To recognize the impact of different dietary choices on their health, ergonomic issues in their workplace and make informed decisions about their food intake to support overall well-being.<br/>3.They will be able to develop and follow nutritionally sound meal plansand apply ergonomic principles to design and arrange workspace for improved comfort and safety.<br/>4.Basic familiarity with radiological imaging modalities and understanding radiation safety principles.<br/>5.Awareness of the role of radiology in medical diagnostics and treatment planning can enhance comprehension of its intersection with health and safety.<br/>
