PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The webinar is intended for librarians, library staff, students and beginners who would like to start out a book binding journey, and interested to learn some useful techniques on basic book binding methods. In this webinar, the participants will have the opportunity to learn the practical step-by-step process to follow at their own pace, and getting acquainted with the different tools and materials necessary for binding.
OBJECTIVES
{1) To gain an understanding of general bookbinding methods and techniques; (2) To improve the life span, durability, and aesthetic qualities of library materials;(3) To demonstrate how to create a hand-bound book.
