PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Tulong, Alalay, Gabay (TAG): Community-Based Mental Health for primary health care workers is a community-based
mental health education approach which includes use of prevention, early intervention, and crisis intermediation tools
to facilitate person-centered treatment and provide complete services to the community. The TAG: Community-Based
Mental Health will complement the current Mental Health services available in primary care facilities.
OBJECTIVES
This activity aims to capacitate healthcare workers at the community level on identifying warning signs and symptoms <br/>of common mental health problems, triaging any actively suicidal person, and referring clients to appropriate <br/>professional help.
