PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

System Loss has been one of Meralco’s most persistent and most controversial problems. To address that, the company has come up with the Elevated Metering Centers as a System Loss Reduction Strategy, which has been proven effective in reducing Non-Technical System Loss. Through the years, EMC has met challenges in terms of protection, efficiency, safety, order and aesthetic/ physical appeal. To address the said challenges and to streamline its operation and maintenance procedures, the Elevated Metering Transformation (EMX) project was launched. Part of the project’s implementation plan is to equip concerned employees with necessary knowledge and skills pertinent to their role in the project implementation. This training makes use of a blend of synchronous online and asynchronous learning. A course pack is provided, which includes a detailed course guide, learning resources and activity guides to ensure learning and its application on the job. Pre-work and practice activities are also given in between synchronous online sessions for each module.

OBJECTIVES

• Explain EMX, including its features and benefits. <br/>• Identify the different EMX hardware and its specific parts. <br/>• Discuss the end-to-end process of EMX preparation and installation. <br/>• Create a sample EMX Plantilla. <br/>• Identify EMX updates in system applications (CMS, EAM and SAP-ERP). <br/>• Explain the new Guidelines and Procedures for EMX Project.? <br/>
