PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The focus of this training program is to equip the participants with necessary skills to perform effective action research that would help in addressing classroom issues such as motivation, instruction, and classroom management and craft one that is ready for publication. The training is also designed to cultivate the skills and capacities of educators, researchers, and practitioners in conducting action research with a scientific approach that could be translated into publication.
The seminar will be held in full online learning modality. It includes lectures that provide foundational knowledge in understanding action research and rigors of scientific writing and publication process. It is followed by workshops designed to apply the concepts and learning of the participants obtained from the lecture-discussion sessions. The whole seminar-workshop will end in writing an action research concept paper but shall have a continuing engagement in the form of mentoring to further enhance the selected papers for publication.
Further, this training intends to provide an opportunity for teachers and educators an opportunity for paper presentation during research conference and publication of their research outputs. ACERT will select 10 papers for said activities.
