PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This webinar will have two speakers namely, Dr. Leo Gerald De Castro and Dr. Judith Yap Del Rosario. They will focus on topics which will enlighten dentists on the effects of COVID-19 pandemic on the dental profession in the Philippines and the use of Laser Photobiomodulation in Dentistry for better pain management and healing.

OBJECTIVES

This webinar aims to explore the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the dental profession in the Philippines and what dental practices can do to mitigate the adverse economic and health effects of the crisis. It also aims to expand the dentists’ horizon in the use of lasers in dentistry which will be beneficial since it promotes faster healing time, allows precision in procedures done, and may minimize pain at the same time.
