PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Section V.1. of DOH Administrative Order No. 2021-0019 titled, “Guidelines in the Decentralization of Regulation
of Levels 2, 3 General Hospitals and Specialty Hospital to the Department of Health Center for Health
Development-Regulation, Licensing and Enforcement Division,” states that all hospitals, regardless of level, shall
secure a DOH-License to Operate (LTO) from DOH-RLED compliant to the licensing standards set forth by
HFSRB and the Food and Drug Administration at all time. To prepare the regulatory officers of the CHD-RLED,
they have to undergo an orientation on the regulation of levels 2 and 3 general hospitals as part of the transition.
OBJECTIVES
To ensure uniformity and harmonious implementation and enforcement of regulation of all levels of general <br/>hospitals by regulatroy offices of CHD-RLEDs.
