PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This will be a quarterly series of identical talks organized by GreenAP in partnership with WORLDBEX SERVICES INTERNATIONAL INC. (WSI)., namely WORLDBEX Pasay (SMX Convention Center), PHILBEX Davao, PHILBEX Iloilo and PHILBEX Cebu which aim to deliver technical talks on various topics within the ambit of sustainable built environment. This will be a gathering of industry leaders, policy makers, key movers and green practitioners in the built environment. The topics are aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by United Nations- a critical partnership between GreenAP and the WSI, with the support of the Adamson University Continuing Professional Development Division (CPDD), Adamson University College of Architecture and the Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (C-SDG), House of Representatives. A combined series of short talks, seminars, open fora and to be culminated with a technical tour for each leg (separate CPD accreditation application for the tour)- which will deepen the forum participants’ appreciation and understanding on the many facets and issues which concern sustainability of the built environment – in the technical, technological, political, legal, engineering and socio-economic lens, based on actual experiences in the context of climate change emergency.

OBJECTIVES

The quarterly series of talks, organized by GreenAP and WORLDBEX, educates industry leaders on sustainable built environment topics aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Through seminars, fora, and technical tours across multiple cities, it deepens understanding of sustainability's various aspects and inspires action in response to climate change. CPD accreditation fosters ongoing professional development and networking among stakeholders, including academia and policymakers, to drive future sustainability initiatives.
