PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Certificate Course on Mga Proteksyon ng Tao Mula sa Pwersahang Pagkawala will discuss the meaning and difference of an Enforced Disappearance from other loss incidents. Additionally, the course will emphasize the factors on why it is considered as a Human Rights Violation and the existing legal protections the State has to protect individuals against Enforced Disappearance.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of the session, participants shall be able to explain the meaning and scope of Enforced Disappearance and the significance of the protections against it; identify statutory protections against Enforced Disappearance; and promote protection against Enforced Disappearance.
